The Song
Under your skin is my second release
After uncertainty, many songs followed.
They’ll never see the light of day…
This is where I got bolder.
I wrote it while cutting my heart loose,
taking the first step out of a dark cloud,
and only released it after crossing the threshold.
Sonically, the song is more experimental.
Intentional.
Layered.
Unpolished.
Some elements remained:
reverb, synthesizers, distorted guitars.
I will never let these go.

It came from instinct.
My idea was clear, but I let it run wild.
It was fun.
I wanted images to sit with the sound.
Nothing more.

I liked letting it stay slightly off
and visibly handmade.
Just like the song.
It’s playful
and dreamy
and funny.
And that’s enough.
